Welcome to the Petals blog. This is where busy women who are also coaches can come and reclaim their charge and momentum for the day.

See, I speak to a lot of women just like you who have something beautiful to offer to this world. A unique service which they love. And now, they want to deliver it in the form of coaching.

So much goes into that. Willpower. Monetary investment. Juggling. Prioritising. Thought. No end of thought. (I still remember breaking my head over who my target market is. What she looks like - I was doing the homework of some free marketing challenge and boy did it make me think.)

Another aspect of the women-with-a-full-life-who-is-also-a-coach is.. oops by the time I described you, I forgot what I wanted to say! You are so so much dear woman. You carry a lot in that beautiful loving heart of yours; your family, your nearest and dearest, your extended family, your colleagues and students in your day job and also your clients. And here's the other aspect; the loneliness. We are trying to build up our coaching practice - alone. No staff room. No cheering squad. Its just Me Myself and I.

Of course, when I do well they are there to applaud. But who, pray tell, knows what it took to get to these moments.

It's the process. Aaaah. Process. It's a word you are learning very very well as you embark and continue to set up and scale your coaching service.

That's what no one else around you gets. The messy process which looks like a spiky graph with magnificent highs and deep lows. From the joy of having been certified. And the deep gratification of knowing you have made a real difference. To the worry, the uncertainty, the difficult client experiences, the unsubscribes and the bravery.

And, at the same time, what's keeping you going is the knowing of the process. There is a process and you are in for the ride.

And that's why, dear coach, this blog was created.

For you.

To feel supported. To gain momentum. To read that their are others that also are experiencing a real journey of setting up a coaching business. To replace self-doubt with strength, despondency to direction and finally, to experience beauty, vitality and joy at every step of the way.
